BATKRI GROUP began with a firsthand view of both Africa’s development challenges and its extraordinary potential. What started as a business journey became a wider commitment: to connect capable organizations, useful technologies and responsible investment with opportunities that can support jobs, infrastructure and long-term prosperity.
Africa needed more than small business alone. It needed major investors, meaningful projects, modern technologies and people prepared to think boldly—and to work respectfully with local knowledge.
The opportunity

During an early business journey in Africa, our founders saw communities with talent, ambition and abundant natural resources, but also serious gaps in infrastructure, reliable services, employment and access to investment. The experience changed the purpose of the company.
We recognized that meaningful progress would require more than a single product or project. It would require credible partnerships connecting local priorities with responsible capital, experienced companies, modern technologies and the practical knowledge needed to operate across borders.
BATKRI GROUP was formed to help create those connections. From Congo-DRC, our work expanded across timber, mining, energy, water and infrastructure—sectors that can strengthen local industry, create employment and support broader economic growth when developed responsibly.
The opportunity remains significant. By defining requirements carefully, bringing the right people to the table and encouraging independent verification, we aim to help partners explore projects that are commercially realistic and capable of contributing to lasting prosperity.
